My Therapy Approach

In my 20 years of practice as a mental health professional, I believe in an eclectic approach to therapy, combining different evidence-based modalities that have a proven scientific basis for the process of healing and recovery. I have found that an integrative way of working yields better results when working with people from diverse backgrounds. Having different origins and having lived in various countries throughout my life, I've naturally developed an inclination towards adapting to and supporting people with various cultures, ethnicities, races, and gender diversity.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based psychoeducational form of therapy. This implies that sessions are structured and tailored to your specific needs, with a predetermined number. CBT assists you in becoming aware of unhelpful patterns of thought and behavior that perpetuate the problem. It also explores other potential contributing factors. In addition, you'll learn skills to build and strengthen motivation and develop efficient problem-solving abilities. This comprehensive approach aims to help you heal with confidence and thrive.

Hypnotherapy

This evidence-based technique has been an integral part of my practice since the beginning, proving beneficial for many clients in unlocking their potential. Whether it's helping them quit smoking, overcome fears, find clarity, achieve emotional freedom, boost confidence, or discover inner peace while embracing a sense of deserving to thrive, the effectiveness of this approach has consistently made a positive impact.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is the ability to be fully in the present moment. Practicing mindfulness can help promote awareness, and non-judgmental acceptance, as well as reduce stress, enhance creativity, and contribute to overall well-being.

I have been practicing meditation since I was 18 years old. It is an intrinsic part of who I am and how I approach my work and healing.
